Are Patterned Tights too Intricate?

There has been a huge debate out only recently about patterned tights being too elaborate conception wise. It is not consequently much colored tights that we should be questioning…but how to wear them. Keep your outfit simple, and your length short, and make the tights your fashion statement. I feel any bold colored tights or patterned tights relentlessly look idyllic either using a tone-on-tone technique, or pairing with a neutral color ie: black, gray, navy or hmmmm… black.

I also assume bold tights with a pump is best, as they help elongate the leg the the majority of. A peep-toe can look super cute but put together sure you do well to conceal the tights ‘toe seam’. In any case, when all is said and done, fad is a term of ones own character and personality, hence wear them nonetheless you like and enjoy it!

I personally love colored tights! And to date I’ve got about twenty different pairs ranging from blue, red, purple, you name it. I feel tights look extremely good with a winter skirt. I many times wear my blue ones with an almost-to-the-knee winter skirt and its particularly pretty.

I love the idea of bright and fun tights! I used to have a lot of if truth be told wonderful ones – blue/gray argyle, green/blue argyle, b/w argyle + quite a few super wonderful black ones with fun white swirls that I found in Italy years ago.

In the past few years I’ve become somewhat more conservative wearing black, brown, navy, dark green and dark burgundy. HOWEVER, this year, I decided to rediscover my “roots.” I ordered scarlet, two checkerboard and diamond patterns black,white and purple,black and a green, blue tie dye. Shortish black skirts or a color shirt or shoe that either unreservedly blends or super contrasts with the tights.  I consider this is the way to go. Back boots are frequently cute.

My approach is super eclectic/gypsy/mix and match/artsy, so, despite the fact that I’m not a little girl anymore, this look fits my life attitude and doesn’t in actuality scare anyone when I wear unusual things.
