I don't think it is only the pantyhose and stockings in question here, but the skirt or shorts length. Pantyhose and stockings (sheer tan/nude/black) are made to look and be very exquisite. I do not think there is any harm in a girl wearing pantyhose provided her skirt length is long enough.I also think the age is not a factor. Babies usually wear pantyhose and/or tights. If you have raised your daughter respectfully then again, age shouldn't be a factor. For me, I wasn't allowed to wear pantyhose until I was 12...an eternity back as a result since all my girlfriends had started wearing them around age 10 or 11. I've seen girls at school in stockings as young as 8 or 9, although I assume that's too young. Remember that more than a few dresses just don't look right with tights too. My friend's oldest daughter is 12 and she lets her wear hose since she was 10 seeing that she was mature and was comfortable with it.
I have worn pantyhose practically all my life, but a large quantity of girls don't fancy to wear pantyhose but their mom's want them to. I don't see how it is a bad thing to wear pantyhose, if a girl wears skirts, for that reason it would just be even less revealing.
I assume that wearing pantyhose shouldn't be about your age it should be about how awesome they go with the outfit..if it doesn't go..DON'T WEAR THEM!!
It in truth doesn't matter what age you are to begin wearing them. When I was just 2 weeks old and my mom tells me she put me in a pair to go to a party with her friends. For that reason there is in actuality not a certain age you have to be to wear them as long as you are comfortable in wearing them.
