THIS year's particularly dreary British summer may be bad news for most of us - but it is good news for sales of hosiery. Tights brand Pretty Polly announced yesterday that sales of opaque tights were up 30 per cent on last year and have enlisted Henry Holland to ensure that, if we have to wrap up in the cold, at least we can look hot.
