Hosiery can Help Pear Shaped Women too

HosieryUnfortunately or fortunately depending on how you think about it, in today's society there are so many women that are easily pear shaped, whose bottom half is large in proportion to the bust. They basically have lumps on certain spots of their body tipically thighs, buttocks and so on. But that does not mean you can look like one of the models on the runway. Here's how to dress to look fantastic for those with this body shape.

Pear shaped women should never hide their waist. Therefore the slim waist feature should be compensated by the choice of colors and patterns. As for the colors, it is important to opt for dark colors from the waist down, and light colors for the chest, never the reverse. This is necessary as it redistributes the proportions and creates harmonious look, hence the light colored bust will appear larger and hips and butt smaller. This has done none other than create an optical illusion to those looking at you.

The focal point to emphasize is always the waist, and all the dresses and coats, perhaps should have a nice belt to  the waist.

Leggings, jeggings and similar are all no nos as they accentuate the disproportion between the butt and ankles, plus they shorten the body since your legs are not long enough. Opaque pantyhose are recommended in particular if they are dark colors or have downward or vertical designs. On the other hand, hosiery with horizontal designs and shapes are not recommended because they concentrate one's attention on your legs making them seem too plump.

Moreover, try to avoid tucking your pants in your boots. A useful tip would be useful to wear stockings and garters instead of hold ups as these would be too tight with the elastic top and of course the retro image if the garter and stockings is unique.

Last but not least, don’t give up, your soul mate for you is out there somewhere,  don’t stop looking, he will find you when you least expect it, maybe in a lingerie shop or in the Chinese shop near the office.

Thanks for the very informative post. I'm looking for some styles that come up to a Q3 (queen size 3) which is equal to a 5/6x. Even fishnets!
