The Fashionistas Dream: Hosiery Galore!

hosiery galore
Colorful, functional hosiery has been a trend in style over the past couple of seasons. Even if the weather in some places persistently is appropriate for layering, there is now a variety of fashionable colors and textures in tights and leggings that are readily available. Even though a large amount of department stores carry hosiery in sizes 2-14, for many plus size females finding stylish hosiery with a cool fit could be a bit of a challenge.  In any case, there are more than a few pairs that have a wonderful fit and make up the fashion of winter 2011.

For the budget conscious fashionista, some stores offer a variety of great hosiery styles up to sizes 22-24. Swiss dot tights could be worn with any skirt or dress to add a little texture and fun. What's great about these tights is they feature a control top as well as extra length and more room via the thighs in hips. Thus that means no falling down, or having to adjust them always.

Patterned Tights can be a little more dramatic but paired with a basic black dress or skirt, these formulate for a great statement pair of tights. Also Panel Leggings  are a fantastic trendy piece to acquire without necessarily making a big investment.

Ultra sheer hose is fantastic but it rips and runs, chiefly when you don't acceptably take care of your legs. You should wax your legs regularly (at least every two weeks) and have manicures/pedicures at least as often. Also, pre-treat the hose with a product like Hosiery Mate before you wear them. Finally, use hosiery gloves to put them on and for that reason another pair of rubber gloves with grippy palms to do the final, wrinkle- and sag-eliminating pull up.

That way your premium hose will last and be worthwhile. Almost every traditional complaint about pantyhose comes from the woman buying cheap thick scratchy hosiery, or not taking rosy care of herself or the hose, or putting them on too fast, or not admitting what her real size is and acquiring hose that is too small to "force" weight loss - and so blaming hose in general for being "uncomfortable".

I agree, hose makes the attire you are wearing just that much more polished.  You can see it on the fashion runways and on the red carpets in Hollywood. I assume girls just need to realize where their strengths and weaknesses are, and dress in the appropriate manner. For me hose and tights give me the feeling of being fashionable and sexy... and also they keep me a little warmer.

A nude leg is a classic look,so one option is to find particularly sheer pantyhose that are the same shade as your skin.

Donna Karan makes "the nudes," but you may find a fantastic match in a cheaper brand too. The goal with this style is to wear pantyhose as a result close to your natural skin tone and so sheer that no one notices your pantyhose.

Opaque black (or dark colored) tights are the fad right now. This is easiest to wear if the shoes match the tights (black or dark colors).

Don't be afraid to go for something fun like a small fishnet pattern which are fantastic for letting a bit of skin reveal itself and have a dressier look than basic hose.
