Cotton tights have a multitude of textures, dependent on the manufacturing process. They can have a velvety feeling and easily go from work to evening, or can be thick enough to keep your legs protected from windy days. Hosiery made from a blend of denier and Lycra have the wonderful smoothness of microfiber with the ideal measure of opacity that makes them an ideal option for work or for a night on the city.

On the other hand, for those females who are not quite ready for startling contrasts, You could go with the tone-on-tone look and put together moss green tights with a moss green skirt and sweater. Another solution could be to opt for complementary colors for a complete look. There are also some suggestions for those women who are on the shorter side and would like to appear taller. You could opt for lighter colored hosiery; Those who would like to lengthen your torso, you could go for darker colored tights. As you can see, your choices are endless.

This season, colored fashion hosiery is not only about color, but it is also about pattern. You could make a really funky statement by wearing polka dot tights, red gingham tights, or give your legs a splash of color with a nice pink and blue floral pattern. Those who would like to wear something slightly more subdued but that still makes a statement should wear tartan or argyle patterned tights.
Last but not least, there might be occasions when you may prefer to wear holdups, thigh highs, a beautiful silk stocking, or even a body stocking but remember this: for the sheer fun of it, you should treat yourself to colored fashion hosiery. Spring is much less dreary when you have some pleasure playing with fashion hosiery,

ooh!I went looking thru the links as well as checking in with some of the other places I’ve been shopping regularly and found that there is pretty good selection of textured, patterned and colored tights for less than $10 a pair! Honestly, selections changes almost daily so I’m hoping to find more good stuff over the next couple of months :) .
I think it's crazy that SO MANY women hate hosiery. They're made better, if you spend the extra money for good hose. With all the colors and deniers, I think the hosiery market is better than it ever was. I'm 34 and have been
wearing hose since I was 9. Even during the bare leg era I wore hose. I love wearing hosiery.
I love the “colored tights” look, every time I try to wear them with an outfit. I think this Easter I will try them.
I must admit pantyhose, especially silky, shiny and colorful ones have great appeal. The beauty is that they hide all sorts of blemishes plus they add a tan. Gives legs a firm youthful look and a wonderful feel. And finally pantyhose give a sophisticated, polished, finished or professional appearance. Remember looking really good takes effort and is not the same thing as wearing your most comfortable clothing.
I have a hard time with colored hosiery. Isn't that funny? I have no qualms wearing knee highs, but colored tights, I feel, are a bit too "young" for me.
I bought some colored tights when I was still a university student, in mustard, aubergine and other Spring colours. I thought they look awesome then, in fact I still think they look pretty cool!!!!
