The Ideal Pantyhose to Wear

Nude shades sound like the way to go. Sheer toe with sandals. Reinforced toe is ok if you're wearing pumps. Sheer to waist or control top all depends on how much support you wish for at your waist. Usually sheer to waist is the way to go with a skirt.

Here's where girls kill themselves in buying pantyhose...don't be uptight about the weight measurements on the sizing chart. if your weight falls on the upper borderline of a size range, go a size higher. It's definitely not smart having nylons that are too snug and small. There probably is a higher risk of the cotton gusset tearing a hole and , of course, getting a run pulling them up to your waist.

Hanes is the number one brand in the USA. If you need simple, sleek, sheer, and silky looking legs, wear their Silk Reflections line. If you feel you're going to need support on your legs throughout your day, better to go with Hanes Alive .You could also wear L'Eggs Sheer Energy or Active Support for moderate support...even Sheer Vitality if you desire the sheerest support. Their Silken Mist method would be for a simpler leg coverage where support isn't a need.

Don't go cheap. Some brands have control tops and sheer to waist waistbands that never seem to stay up efficiently enough. L'eggs and Hanes appear to stay up longer. White pantyhose are usually meant for one thing and one thing only....weddings. Stay away from white but then again it depends on your tastes. Nude shades or even black shades (when you want a leaner, sexier look) are the way to go.

The most important thing is comfort and that starts with sizing. Like I said, don't be conservative with your weight. If you're on the borderline, go larger to put a stop to higher risks of runs and crotch holes.

Oh, and one more thing I feel a lot of girls don't pay attention to....make sure those fiber lines going up to the waist are straight!!!!! If the lines of the nylon fibers curve inward towards the crotch or outward towards your hip pull the leg back down and flip the toe of the hose over to the proper viewpoint for that reason that the fibers are in a straight approach from the toe all the way to the waist. This mistake is a major contributor to why ladies experience the stitching snapping on them and before they know it, they have a gaping hole around the crotch and sooner or later a run extending down the leg.

Its mostly trial and error. you have to find a good quality brand not cheap ones to try out. You may wear nude or black in the largest part of professional work settings.  As for sheer to waist, they can be more comfy but control top hide panty lines better if you wear panties with them . Sheer toe for open toe shoes reinforced for closed toe shoes. Size matters , check size on back of package and if you are on the edge of two sizes for height and weight purchase the larger. When you find a brand that fits and feels great stock up.
