Wearing stockings with my black dress at a Gathering

I have a long black dress with the split up one leg and I decided to wear it last weekend to go out to dinner with my gracious hubby who relentlessly likes to see me wear something exclusive when we go out together. I decided to spice it up with some colored stockings. I have a pair of red ones with the black seam down the back. I have worn these kinds of stockings it many times and continually have awesome feedback from the guys. I have deep red stockings with seams and Cuban heel in black, and light pink the same way. They are great looking and extra sheer, even though they do need a garter belt. The ultra sheer stockings never stay up by themselves, but every guy I know loves a garter belt anyway, and I feel they are fun. My hubby also gets a kick out of it.

Stockings are in more this fall than it has been for years. If you are going to a formal affair, you can still wear the seams but you could also wear ultra sheer black stockings too. If you are going to a party, or a more gala event the red stockings with black seams are remarkable. I have even worn the kind with the fully fashioned heel where not only is the seam black but the whole heel. Since I usually wear real nylons with a garter belt, they are for that reason sheer and elegant thus nobody can put them down.

I have worn all sorts of stockings and I have always tried to be up to date. If you are going to a very conservative gathering, just wear sheer black stockings but keep the seams. They are very chic to wear and very well admired by all: men and women.
